“Tour De Force” - 38 Special - LP Vinyl Album – 1984 – BRAND NEW
With roots in southern rock and with a family link to members in Lynyrd Skynyrd, 38 Special carried on a solid tradition of rockin' southern music. A humorous anecdote on the formation of the band's name is that it came from the band's inability to respond to a disturbance call when the police arrived. Unable to exit out the padlocked door that that the cops wanted them to, the policeman is purported to have said “I'll let this 38 Special do the talking" and shot the padlock off the door.
Here is my copy of this album. It has been stored inside my home for the last nearly 35 years. It has never been played and is in its original shrink wrap. I think I bought this on vinyl after I purchased it on CD. I am the original owner.

Note: There is a notch cut into the top left corner of this album (which I think signified it came off the discount rack at the "record store"). The notch doesn't extend that far and I am sure the record itself is unaffected.
