An excellent “lost” Tom Waits record The significance of this record is that Kathleen Brennen, his soon to be wife, was working as a screen writer on the movie when they met. This is the last record Tom made without Kathleen Brennen’s collaboration, making it the last of his “traditional” jazz piano inspired records. None of the tracks on this record have been re-recorded or have been on compilations or appeared in a different form on another record, making it a wonderful addition to any fan of Tom Waits.
