Up for sale is a very rare test pressing of the Timebox Original Moose On The Loose LP. Purchased from N. Stocker, who oversaw the release of the album on the Cosmos Collector label in the late 1970s. The album is a compilation of the band’s five singles for the Deram label, including the top 40 hit Beggin’. According to Stocker, only six of these test pressings were created.
Timebox featured Mike Patto, Ollie Halsall, John Halsey, Clive Griffiths, and Chris Holmes. The first four went on as Patto playing jazz-influenced rock. The members were also involved with The Rutles, Kevin Ayers, Neil Innes, Boxer, Vivian Stanshall, Babe Ruth, and other groups.
