Late 70's early 80's? Tunesmith records
Wow! The Bands that signed on this Short lived Tunesmith label simply amaze me! The label was only around in the late 70's and early 80's but did not put dates on the lp's so this one is late 70's early 80's. The Tunesmith Label was from Canada and most bands on the label were Canadian acts like these guys (Weston, Ontario). Although some bands like Stronghold were from America and i think Amaziah (Another highly sought after band) was from england. Many other great band's like Oracle, The Hank Laake band, Justus,Dregs & Dwinkles,Sevant, Barnabas,Carson Cole, Anthem,Eternity Express, Arlan Salte and many more great acts were on this Fantastic label that folded so soon that mostly all these records are very hard to find like this one here. It took me forever to find this record. This band is one of the more talented bands on this label. They seem to have spent a little more on production for this band and gave them a gatefold lp with all the lyrics inside which was unheard of for this low budget label! While some of the music on here is great rock music there is some psych rock and at times some great guitar keyboard parts that lean a little towards prog rock. The song's and arrangements by this band are simply stunning at times! The longest track on here is a fantastic instrumental. The album was produced and arranged By lead Gutarist and lead singer Lazarus Varla and he also wrote all the songs. Rounding out this band is Steve Kennedy on bass, Al Tiernay on guitar, David Geldart, on Oberheim OBX Rhodes String synthsizer and piano, Paul Quinton on drums. Also guest musician Bob Federer on the Prophet 5. I have put a reserve on this auction but it is not too high trust me. I just don't want to sell it for nothing because someone my confuse this with the very popular newer Christian act that also goes by the name Third Day. And this lp is a super rare find.
Vinyl & Jacket and are mint. I just opened it because i searched forever for this album plus got all the info for this Auction. If anyone knows anything about this band i would love to hear from you. Thanks
