Description
Original US Date Records pressing of The Zombies – Odessey and Oracle, catalog number TES 4013.
This is the desirable early US pressing with etched 1A / 1A matrix numbers in the deadwax and the small Customatrix “o” deadwax mark, which is a period-correct Columbia/Date metalwork mark.

Side 1, etched: o XSM137383 1A
Side 2, etched: o XSM137384 1A
Vinyl is very clean overall and presents beautifully, with only a couple very light, hardly noticeable surface scratches/marks visible at certain angles. Not professionally play graded, but visually a very nice copy. Tested though and plays perfect.
Cover is presentable but does show age and wear, including wear on the front and back as shown in the photos. Both right-side seams have splits, top and bottom, a few inches each, also shown in the photos. Includes the period company inner sleeve/insert shown, which is in fair condition with age/wear and splits.
Overall, a very collectible original US Date pressing of this classic Zombies album with early 1A/1A etched deadwax details. Not a perfect copy, but a solid, presentable original with strong vinyl and honest cover wear.
