Description

Catalog# on records is RSR 241, Rock Solid Records. Sleeve says International Records, New York.

From my personal collection.... A very rare 4 LP set. This is the very first full color gatefold release of it's kind ever! This includes the first and last Led Zeppelin concerts that were ever recorded in the USA, which is why it is called Alpha & Omega. The cover mistakenly lists the 1968 show as Denver, which was the first USA performance on 12/26/68. However, the recording is actually from Spokane four days later, which was the first USA performance that was ever recorded.

I have many more rare Led Zeppelin and other records in my other auctions and coming soon.

Side 1 & 2: John F. Kennedy Memorial Pavilion, Gonzaga University, Spokane, Washington Dec. 30 '68.

Side 3 through 8: The Day On The Green, Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum, Oakland, California July 24 '77.

Side 1: The Train Kept A Rollin' (2:30)/I Can't Quit You Baby (5:38)/As Long As I Have You medley (8:09) incl. Fresh Garbage, Bag's Groove, Mockinbird

Details

This album had ring wear on the cover when I got it new, as many copies of this album do. Also it is common for the cover to be a little crinkled from having four albums in it.

I bought this album new about 25 years ago, and carefully played it a few times back then. It has been stored upright in a plastic sleeve since then. The photos might show some dust that should clean off easily, but I can't find my record cleaner right now.

Photos show the actual item you will receive. Sometimes I copy track listings from online sources, so small errors may sometimes occur in the song titles listed.

Grade (record / sleeve)

VG+ / VG

All records visually graded. I use the following grading system, based on the Goldmine Grading System....

  • Mint = New, unplayed.
  • NM = Top grade for a used, excellent condition record.
  • VG+ = Average grade for a really nice record, still glossy, possibly a few minor scuffs.
  • VG = Some deeper scuffs or light scratches.
  • G = Obvious wear.
  • Fair = Will probably play OK on most turntables.
  • Poor = Bad.
