This is a UK Mono 1st pressing LP. It has a heavyweight front laminated sleeve which is printed by "Robert Stace".. It comes with its original generic polythene lined company inner sleeve. The record is pressed on thick vinyl & has red "unboxed" Decca labels. These are deep grooved also. The record has 1st press ARL-6709-1A and ARL-6710-1A matrix numbers.

A genuine UK 1st pressing of this superb mid 1960's UK Beat/ UK R'n'B/ Mod LP. This was their debut LP & is one of the best Beat LP's of the era in my opinion. It includes the classic "She's Not There", which catapulted them into the charts. However, this LP sold quite poorly in the UK at the time. Subsequently, it is extremely rare nowadays.

Unfortunately, this is a bit of a well worn copy, especially the sleeve. However, apart from a few issues, playback is really good indeed. Please see below for a more thorough description. Sleeve: There is some mild or very mild rubbing wear to the corner tips. There is mild, more moderate to moderate rubbing wear on the sleeve opening edges on some areas. This is not too noticeable overall. There is some light, mild or very mild  fading to the white areas of the sleeve to a varying degree. There is a small finger-tip sized stain on the front sleeve. at the bottom spine area (see photo). There is a mild stain, in the same area, on the rear sleeve too. There are three other light or very mild small stains on the rear sleeve too (see photo). There are some finger-rip stains, or marks, on the rear sleeve on a few areas. The spine is in Very Good condition. The spine text is completely legible. There are two 5 cm laminate creases on the front. There is some mild, very mild or more moderate ringwear too. Overall, Good++ condition

Vinyl: There is an approximately 10 cm surface mark on Side 1. It is thicker than a hairline marks at the first 3 cm of the mark. This causes some intermittent clicks on a couple of tracks on Side 1 (Please see below for a more thorough playback description). The majority of this mark is just a surface hairline mark. It becomes much less visible after the start area of the mark. There is an extremely light hairline surface rub mark on Side 1. This is not that noticeable under a strong light. There are two other hairline surface marks on Side 1 too. These measure 2 cm and 2.5 cm respectively. There is a 5 cm surface rub mark on Side 2. This is very feint & hardly notices under a strong light.

Otherwise, there are some light, very mild or very minor sleeve rubs which can hardly be seen under a strong light. Side 1 is in Good++ condition. Side 2 is in Very Good++ condition. Overall, Very Good condition. The labels are in Very Good++ condition & show more moderate spindle wear only. The company inner sleeve is in Good+ condition. There is some light, mild or more moderate ringwear & creasing. There is moderate to more considerable fading. There are no seam splits.

I have fully play tested this LP. Side 1 plays Good+ to Very Good overall, & Very Good+ to Near Excellent in some places. As stated, there is a surface mark on Side 1 that causes some intermittent clicks. There are a few intermittent light clicks on "Summertime". These do not last that long. Then, there is some mild clicks at the very end of this track & in the dead wax between the tracks. There are some light, very mild or very minor intermittent clicks throughout the tracks "I Can't Make Up My Mind" and the following track, "The Way I Feel Inside". The clicks are very much in the background & never overpower the music. In many cases they are inaudible. They are slightly more noticeable on the track , "The Way I Feel Inside", as it is Just Colin Blunstone singing with no backing from the band. Even then, the clicks are not too noticeable. In all, the intermittent clicks last for approximately 4 minutes. It does not nump, stick or skip at any point. The rest of Side 1 plays extremely well with only, light, very mild or very minor crackle in some quieter places.

Side 2 plays Very Good++ to Near Excellent overall & Excellent in many places. There is just some light, very mild or very minor crackle in some quieter places. There are no clicks or pops. Overall, Side 2 is a great audio copy.
