Up for sale is fine example of a Chicago blues 78 RPM record from 1950. Classic label J.O.B. #100a, “My Head Can’t Rest Anymore” b/w “Take A Little Walk With Me” by Baby Face (Leroy Foster) backed by Snooky Pryor on harmonica and Alfred Elkins on bass.
Condition: V with some luster no cracks but some scratches and wear. I can send additional photos upon request (i am also looking in my catalog for sound clips i took a couple of years ago. I will update if found

Around 1947, Baby Face Leroy who came up from the delta, became one of the founding members of the fabled “Headhunters”, a group who included Muddy Waters and Jimmy Rogers and got their name for cutting the heads of any musicians foolish enough to cross their path. Baby Face Leroy’s best sides were the two-part “Rollin’ and Tumblin’ on Parkway,” which Muddy Waters and Little Walter were both in the band. Foster played guitar on some of these other artists recordings and also operating the bass drum and high-hat with pedals.
Unfortunately, he died in 1958 so you don’t hear much about him today. J.O.B. is collectable like other fine Chicago labels; Chance, Regal, Parrot, Vee-Jay, Aristocrat, Chess or Checker.
