*DEMONSTRATION* 7" on the UK original COLUMBIA RECORDS lable DB 7410
Here's a great 60's band that has had a re-discovery through collector interest.
Why, is because their singles were good - and perhaps the fact that many bands were not always quite up to their reputation when it came to the quality of their records....but we are finding out that many excellent ones were overlooked completely. So, being selective about what's collectible and what is actually interesting to listen to, singles like these should see a bit more of the turntable!
This is a pop beat classic, nice production, and I have to say that it's - in my opinion - their best record.
Shel Talmy produced. Although The WHO and he fell out over control issues in the studio, he really was one of the best of the time and he put his touch to a lot of top quality mod and beat singles! This one being a standout.
The vinyl is in NEAR MINT condition, TOP shine!
The lables are super clean and bright NM.
(Many Demo copies went out in a plain sleeve, but finding a company one of the period is simple on this lable)
