We have a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 2/3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers.
We mail all paid orders out once a week on Fridays/Saturdays. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule to Monday. We strive to keep our shipping and handling costs as close to actual charges as reasonable. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. Please be aware we have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.

MEGA RARE 1966 Original ....only 4 known copies have ever surfaced for sale...this was a requested item, as a challenge to find, having top flight high collector desire concerning the 'real people' lost folkrock vibe of the mid sixties...not the stuff that brought fame, but rather the cool private press loner lost highway sound... only 500 copies were pressed in 1966 with a day-glow green custom designed "Facets" Jim Croce sticker in the middle of a thick dynamic looking metallic gold textured cover ... In mega rare zones 46 years later, the known copies have fetched high triple figure $$$ and on the rise to the thousand $ mark... here's the story behind this ungodly rarity....
Since he only left a precious few full-length albums behind, fans have always clamored for more recordings from the late/great Jim Croce. Probably one of the most sought-after items is this ultrarare album that Croce issued himself back in 1966, "Facets." With 500 dollars in his pocket (a wedding gift from his parents), Croce recorded 11 tracks and pressed up 500 copies of the resulting album — all of which were snapped up except for a handful. With the majority of Croce's fans never having the chance to hear these early tracks, "Facets" is aimed not only at Croce's most ardent fans, but to anyone into the real people lost highway loner folk sounds of the sixties... collectors of such won't be disappointed which attests to the high dollar figure the 4 copies have sold for. Although Croce was still finding his own voice and style, such tracks as "Steel Rail Blues" show that the singer/guitarist was already on his way to greatness.

CONDITION: The cover: the thick metallic GOLD textured cover is solid with no seam split, VG++ to "EX" (excellent) upper levels, highly collectible...would grade higher but for little bumped top right corner...still tops look.
The vinyl: both private press labels are clean ...the grooves are clean amounting to a few nothing minor soft scuffs, VG++ visual, play graded excellent/mint enjoyable...you can't go wrong here....
