Has producer credit and “fan club” address box below track list. Side markers set in large serif typeface. 

Summary: Original US first issue 10-track stereo 1967 US Pinckneyville press of Happy Jack (A Quick One) in fantastic condition. US pasted picture board sleeve in age defining condition. No seam splits or tears to what are generally known as being extremely fragile. Decca rainbow bar labels (EX), minimum play. Clean, clear audio no pips, pops, no groove wear or distortion. Fantastic all-round EX/EX+ condition with absolute minimal signs of age.

A “Quick One" was originally released in the UK December 1966. In the U.S. it was released April 1967 and was retitled "Happy Jack" partly because 'Happy Jack' single had been a minor hit in the U.S., plus Decca U.S. objected to the double entendre in the original title. It’s the same album except 'Heatwave' was replaced by 'Happy Jack.” A Classic Who album.

Sleeve: Non-laminated American pasted  board sleeve in fantastic age defying condition. Full 'Stereo' arrow flash on back. Has its original sheen, no seam splits, tears, grubby handling marks or colour fading, unbelievable for a US sleeve of this age. Extremely light corner rub only. Please see photos. Graded EX.

Comes in new poly-lined inner sleeve.

Labels: Classic US 60’s Decca rainbow bar logo on black background. Minimum play, clean, no graffiti or sticker marks etc, graded EX+ (my finger marks on label have been removed).

Vinyl: Retains a lovely sheen, very few plays. Closer inspection under a bright light and a magnifying glass reveals just 3-4 hard to see wispy hairlines from sleeve removal graded EX  

Audio: Plays through clean, solid clear audio. No skips, sticks, jumps, pips, pops or  low level static crackle, played on a Project carbon - blue 2M Ortofon) Graded EX+

I have been a collector for 48+ years buying and selling a few of my records over the years to feed my changing music habits. The few records I sell are either the results of upgrades, duplicates or a bit of thinning every now and again as this is. I strictly adhere to the Record Collector Magazine's Grading Guide using one + or - as an additional guide:

MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. 

EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing. 

VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. 

GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
