Selected titles from the private collection of a music business veteran are now being made available for the first time. Titles offered by this Seller are one-owner and came directly from the pressing plant, record company warehouse, other label reps or record store unless otherwise noted. 

Grading is based on visual inspection.

I package records outside the cover to avoid seam splits.

New and vintage vinyl is hard to grade strictly using eBay’s system because the record and the cover are two different components. Therefore, I call a record new and mint if it is opened but has never been played.  I use the grading category to describe the cover condition.

• This rare edition is a Promotional copy of the First Pressing of the original 1973 release. It is rare because it was one of a short-lived series of "The Art Of..." jazz artist compilations that Atlantic Records issued in the early-mid 1970's. Therefore, they were basically Limited Edition releases that went Out-Of-Print after the initial release.
• Liner notes by Martin Williams.
• The tiny saw cut top right seams indicates this was an in-house Promo.
• Pressed at Monarch Record Mfg. Co.
• These two records have never been played.
• The paper-on-board gatefold cover has tight seams, a stiff spine and shows very slight storage wear.
• The original Atlantic catalogue inner sleeves are included.
• This is a one-owner that the Seller got new from the Atlantic sales rep in his record store in 1973. It has been in storage for 48 years.
