The story I got from Mojo Music Magazine England is that this Verve / Voyager 1 record was shipped to the U.S. Quanity 1000. Somehow around 500 were damaged and destroyed. Making it a rare record. It was the promo record to kick off TheVerve for Virgin Records in the U.S. There are no promostickers, cuts or holes on it. I wish I knew what Mojo magazine issue I read because I was excited to see that this record is a rare one and if you could read the article you'd get all the details.
I got it from the Virgin Records offiice Beverly Hills ,CA. around 1996 and it's never been play. I also stored it safely all these years smoke free and covered in a plastic sleeve.
