Description

 The Velvet Underground & Nico 1967 Verve V-5008 Lawsuit Sticker RARE Play Tested East Coast Pressing Mono 
This is a fairly rare album, but unfortunately it is in fairly rough shape.  This is the infamous "lawsuit sticker" album.  Apparently on the original issue, in the photograph on the back, an individual's torso was included without that person's permission.  He threatened to sue which prompted the record company to pull the album, and apply stickers to cover up the image. In later releases his torso was airbrushed out. 

Media: Looks F/G, but plays G/G+. Side A track 1 has significant repeated pops, but the sound improves as the side goes on.  Side B plays G+ given the appearance.  Spindle marks on both sides.

Sleeve: P/F Banana sticker is missing.  Significant shelf, and ring wear.  Stains and marker on cover.  Lawsuit sticker peeled at edges. Split seams and spine damage

Shipping: The album will be in a new inner sleeve outside from the album cover.  The original inner sleeve with be in the album cover. The record, and the album cover will be placed in a poly sleeve. From there they will be placed between two cardboard slabs.  After that they will be placed in recycled record shipping package and shipped via media mail to you.
