Description
The Deviants (formerly The Social Deviants) lived down the road from me in Notting Hill. This is their first self-funded album on the "Underground Impressarios" label (IMPS-001 no less) released mainly through the underground press OZ (I still have a load of OZ magazines) and IT (International Times) before they got their Decca contract. That really makes it a rarity, particularly in this condition!
Described as "stereo Compatible" on the disc label.
As the 8-fold poster-sleeve says - "Stand back all! Something takes Shape within the swirling mist!!", "When the mode of the music changes the walls of the city shake!!" It would frame up as a terriffic 3x1 poster!
Garage Rock, though when people started getting excited about Punk I played them this!
Mick Farren, lead vocal became a well known journalist with the British counter-culture press of the 60s

Excellent condition for the album and pretty good for the poster-sleeve too.
Private seller parting with my record collection at last – mainly from the late 60s / early 70s. Time to let someone else enjoy them.
Note: I am listing them under eBay UK as “Item Condition – Used” which eBay automatically converts to “As new” on the eBay.com site. They were loved and well cared for; I was that nerd (before the term was coined) who insisted on putting them back in the sleeve every time they were played! and I would describe them as in very good condition, but they are 40 years old – I suppose that means that I too am “as new” in the US market J
