Break It All
\ USA - AUDIO FIDELITY - AFSD 6155
RARE and *CLEAN* 1965 ORIGINAL first pressing of SUPER COOL Garage Beat ...One Of The Best Of The Era!
The lucky winner can't go wrong with this sound, all killer ~ no filler...
Gotten VERY hard to find, a terrific blend of British Invasion gems, not just any band, these cats from Uraguay had a long and triumphant career, and with a sound closer on the heels of THE BEATLES than one might believe... yes, the Shakers had an incredible uncanny resemblance to the fab four -- not just a copy band but writing and playing original poprock perfection as strong as The Beatles, yet outside of their area (where they were kings) they remained unbeliveably annonymous ...in the sixties it was a different world ... "Break It All", their first album from 1965 features a TERRIFIC array of mid period Beatles styled dead ringers...all the tracks are SO powerful, the gorgeous melodies stick in the mind for days...once they get their hooks in you, a follower of this band you become (Wait till you hear their "For You" comparison LP to Beatles "Revolver") ...
Los Shakers - Break It All
The sound was Beatles-like, but not an ordinary or rough copy, instead a copy of superior quality, superior than many of the foreign singers of that era and in English language. Added to this, was the quality of their own compositions, their own songs were of a surprisingly high quality. At the same time they recorded an album with their own songs, "The Shakers", which included their latest hits, plus they began making live presentations and television appearances in Argentina(where they were huge) and overseas. Their first album was released in the USA ("Break It All"), comprised almost completely of their own songs. Technically it is impeccable, with stereo sound of high quality and the music, good luck getting it removed from your head...

The vinyl is all glossy clean M- and plays to perfection perfect, no problems, sounds and tracks beautifully....the labels are clean, you will not find a cleaner copy of this vinyl.I have been collecting records for 45 years. All records I sell are out of my own extensive collection and have been upgraded consistently over the years. Any record I sell is the best I could find in all this time. I had a store for a while and would try to keep one copy of albums I liked. Most are unplayed. I try to keep my descriptions short to save you time. I assume, if you are here, you know the album, titles, etc. If not, Allmusic is a great site to get the scoop. Bid with confidence!

All shipping costs worldwide are under the shipping tab at the bottom!!
Let me say something about shipping: I am not Amazon.com. I go to the post office once a week, usually on Wednesdays. "Priority mail" means it goes by air...it does not mean it goes out in the next hour. I have never had a package lost and do not get complaints about packing. If you cannot be patient with shipping time, well you know. Of course all your purchases are guaranteed for satisfaction.
All records are guaranteed if returned in same condition.
Records are visually graded unless stated...have been doing this for a long time.
All grades are cover first then record.
MINT is unplayed, sealed, or play-graded mint.
MINT MINUS is like new but probably played once or twice...most would grade this mint
NEAR MINT is near new with some slight signs of play...an extremely clean record
VERY GOOD PLUS is collectible but might have some light sleeve marks and some light noise...still plays very well with no major issues.
I WILL USE (+) AND (-) FOR EMPHASIS ON THE BASIC GRADES...I DO NOT LIST ITEMS LESS THAN VERY GOOD PLUS UNLESS THEY ARE EXTREMELY RARE AND THEN A FULL DISCLOSURE WILL BE PROVIDED. BID WITH CONFIDENCE.
Flaws in covers will be noted.
