COVER for RECORD 1: GOOD (splits and edge tears)
COVER for RECORD 2: VERY GOOD (nice overall, slight edge wear)
RECORDS: VG to VG+ (much better shape than usual for these titles)
NOTES: Early examples of Andy Warhol art on these Spanish language lesson records on Doubleday. This sale includes both volumes! The records are in surprisingly nice shape. The cover for Record 1 is completely split on top and spine and more than halfway split along bottom. There are also some edge tears including one that goes into the sombrero art. The cover for Record 2 is in much better shape; it is complete with no major splits; there is a tiny tear bottom right and some slight creasing
These covers are as I found them - I have not attempted any repairs. The tears on Volume 1 cover could be repaired on the back with some careful work, but I will leave that up to the buyer. Also most of you probably know this, but these are not typical cardboard album covers; they are flimsy paper covers and thus easily subject to tearing

GRADES: SEALED, NM, EXC, VG+, VG, VG-, G, FAIR, POOR.
I grade strictly under bright light. My highest grade for an unsealed record is NM (NEAR MINT) - a record must look like new to be graded NM! An EXC record will show only slight signs of prior play. A VG+ is a solid used record that should play well but has minor visual flaws. A VG has more obvious flaws BUT is not trashed. Records graded VG- or worse will often play much better than they look.
