Description

Los Angeles interracial band The Seven Souls might have lost the ‘Battle-Of-The-Bands’ to Sly And The Family Stone but they scored a wonderful consolation prize in the form of this double-hitter for Okeh in 1967. Propelled along by future Fleetwood Mac guitarist Bob Welch, “I Still Love You” has earned its place in the Northern Soul Hall Of Fame as possibly the finest West Coast soul song of all time.

The group were produced by Johnny Guitar Watson and Larry Williams.

VG

Lots of scuffs and some small scratches

Plays loud and clear with no pops or ticks or hiss
