The Rumblers - Boss!
(London Dot HA-D 8081 UK LP 1963)
This is a UK original Mono LP pressing. It has a front laminated flipback sleeve. It comes with its original polythene lined company inner sleeve. The record is pressed on thick vinyl & has maroon & silver "London Dot" labels. These are grooved also. It has 1st press -1B/ -1B matrix stampers. A genuine UK 1st pressing of this rare early 1960's Surf/ Instrumental LP.
Sleeve: There is a small 1 cm tear at the front sleeve opening (see photo). This doesn't notice that much. There is some very mild fading to the "white" of the rear sleeve. There is some light, mild or very mild ringwear. VG condition
Vinyl: There are some mild, more moderate or moderate sleeve rubs which can be seen under a strong light. There are 5 or 6 surface hairline marks. These are mainly very small (approx 1 cm). There is a small finger sized area of moderate surface rub marks on Side 1. The inner sleeve, over time, has left some light, mild or very mild dull surface marks on some areas. Overall, Good condition. The labels are in Very Good condition & show more moderate spindle wear only. The company inner sleeve is in Very Good condition. There is some light, mild or very mild ringwear, fading & creasing. There are no seam splits.
I have fully play tested this LP. It plays Very Good to Very Good+ overall. There is some light, mild or very mild crackle noticeable in the quieter places to a varying degree. It never overpowers the music. There are no noticeable clicks or pops. Overall, a very serviceable audio copy.
