Description
On offer here is the very first UK pressing of The Rolling Stones debut LP on Decca mono from 1964. This has the incredibly rare matrix numbers 1A/ 1A meaning it has the withdrawn shorter version of the track Tell Me. If you are interested in this record please read the description below as the vinyl has been well played. The cover is in decent enough condition. I've seen lots worse than this. There are just a few light laminate creases on the front, the spine is still readable and the rear has the usual age wear. There is a name written on the back. Grading a strong Good Condition. The inner is an original 60s sleeve probably a Decca one but is not the one that the LP would have come in. Its in fantastic condition grading as Excellent. The vinyl visually has been played many times. There are lots of marks and a few feelable scratches. I am grading as only FAIR CONDITION. It will not get any better than this. There is also a name on each side of the label. Despite the amount of times the record has been played it does play to a listenable level. It is not perfect by any means but the record plays through without any jumps on my stereo. Some tracks play better than others. There is noticeable static throughout and there are some light pops and clicks but not on every track. Unfortunately Tell Me does click throughout the track. I am grading as FAIR TO GOOD CONDITION ONLY. THIS IS PROBABLY AN LP FOR THE COMPLETIST STONES COLLECTOR. IT DOES PLAY BUT DO NOT EXPECT IT TO LOOK OR PLAY ANY BETTER THAN DESCRIBED. I am only starting the bids at £20.00.If you have any doubts then do not bid on this record. Postage is £4.50 first class UK, and £12.00 to Europe.
