Description

An original pressing of Around and Around on the French Decca label from 1965. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original cover with flipbacks printed in France in the fall of 1965 [date coded 10/65].
Vinyl (Ex/Ex+) In superb shape and has clearly only seen light to moderate use. Under close inspection there are a few marks either side - nothing that causes issue - guaranteed. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an, at least, EXCELLENT level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are quiet and the audio comes across with great clarity. Interference is minimal - all we detected was a couple of crackles in a couple of isolated moments [literally]. It is a fantastic little player. These heavy set mono pressings where little monsters!
Cover (Ex-) In great shape and let me tell you finding one of these covers even close to this condition is very very unusual. They are constructed of very light weight card/paper and most are totally trashed in one respect or another after 50 years of use. Occasionally one pops up which has been carefully looked after and is still in respectable condition - and this is that copy!  A touch of light ring wear on the front, but no nasty laminate creasing or tears. The rear, which so often is affected by ageing, is totally white! Just a touch of ring wear and autographed in the top-left sector. The spine is 100% intact as are all the flipbacks. Don't underestimate how difficult it is to find one like this...
