THE ROLLING STONES - 'AFTERMATH'
This exquisite 1st UK MONO pressing of their fourth studio album dates from initial April 1966 release.
It is on the deep-groove open Decca label: LK.4786
Matrix numbers: XARL-7209-1B & XARL-7210-3A
Stamper codes: 1/GC & 2,B/GK
Vinyl weight: 145g
Housed in a front laminated 'Robert Stace' printed mono cover.
Complete with its original poly-lined inner-sleeve.

A richly-coloured, unworn pair bearing no more than 2 or 3 spindle trails around each centre hole.
Visual:
Side 1: NEAR MINT Side 2: EXCELLENT +
Played just a couple of times, both sides of this outstanding disc are clean, glossy & unworn. Viewed directly beneath halogen light, side 2 (only) bears some harmless wispy paper-type hairlines with nothing more than a sparkling rainbow shine on both sides.
Audio: EXCELLENT +
Due to its long playing time the audio on this pressing is a long way from audiophile quality. This copy, like most others, has some light vinyl background on quieter passages such as 'Lady Jane' and between tracks but certainly no groove/playwear distortion, crackle or any clicks, pops or any other audible distractions. You would be lucky to upgrade this gem.
Cover: EXCELLENT +
Owing to the thin card used in its construction, covers in this condition are extremely hard to find. This fine example example has a clean & glossy front panel bearing just a single 'thumbnail' and an unavoidable light disc impression from storage. There is also a small area of laminate lift towards the upper part of the spine which is a common issue for this cover. All corners are in very nice shape with just tiny bruises to the tips of the upper left and lower right. Both opening edges are perfectly sharp and totally unworn. The rear panel is extremely clean & white with the only blemish being a small faint spot towards the upper edge. Both seams are smooth & undamaged and the spine is clearly and fully worded.
Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT
Some soft wrinkles from storage but no other issues.
