Description

This is the original first pressing housed in a sleeve made of sandpaper. It comes with the bonus flexi disc.
FLEXI INCLUDED (VG+). Vinyl in beautiful condition and plays perfectly (VG+). The sleeve is still housed in its original shrink wrap (with original Virgin Records price tag), which has protected the sandpaper all over (VG). There are signs of wear at the mouth of the sleeve where it has been opened + the bottom edge has curled a little due to age and the shrink wrap.  The Flexi  has a couple of hairlines but they don't affect play.
This is an early Factory Records release: FACT 14  The  etched matrices are S-6 FACT 14 4 PBG A1 F?A?C?T? ?1?4? ?A?1? SOUND CLINIC EG &  S-3 FACT 1?4? ?B?1? 14 PBG B1 EG

A bit of trivia: The sandpaper sleeve was Tony Wilsons idea so as to destroy any records around it. The covers were assembled by members of Joy Division and A Certain Ratio among others on the Factory Records label. They were each individually glued together by Ian Curtis. The rest of the band were in the adjacent room watching porn at the time.
