Description

The Regents "Barbara Ann"/Little Eva "The Loco-Motion"

This is a US vinyl 10 inch single on Rhino Jukebox Classics # 22.      It plays at 78 RPM.       'Barbara Ann' by The Regents reached # 13 on 5/22/61 and it was their first hit.    ( This is the cool doo-wop song that The Beach Boys later covered)      Little Eva's 'The Loco-Motion' reached # 1 on 7/21/62, and this was her first hit.    ( Grand Funk also reached # 1 with this song on 3/30/74 )        It comes in a plain yellow sleeve.   

Condition :  Record : M-  

Since I can't play 78's, this is visual graded  : M-.       The labels are clean.

About Me :

I started collecting records in 1966.       I started selling in Goldmine in 1985.          I now sell records at all Northwest record conventions : Portland, Seattle, Tacoma, Eugene, Grants Pass, and Canby.     And at Crossroads Music in Portland, Oregon.     My records are from a no smoking and no pets home.

Packaging :

I take great care during packaging and do each one personally.      I use hand cut cardboard, which I get from a trucking company.   (It's so thick that you will save it and use it again.)      Each peice is 1/2 inch thick and together they are very stronge.       I always remove the record from the picture sleeve and tape them inside a clear plastic record sleeve.      All packages are marked in red : "Fragile Record" on both sides.   

Postage : 

You have to pay for the postage.   So,  I pre-weigh each package and you pay the exact amount the post office charges.   There are no handling charges.       This record will weigh 1 pound, 1 ounce when ready to ship.  US winners can figure out your own postage costs for US Priority or Media Mail.    I will send it through Paypal and you will get an email with the tracking number.    Overseas buyers must use First Class Mail International.     After I send it, I will send you an email with the date I mailed it and the US customs number.         (Buyers from Italy will assume all risks for shipping to your country.)       I will send your record as soon as you pay. (same day if before 2 PM and next day if after 2 PM, Monday thru Saturday)   I will combine postage if you win more than one record.    Please wait for my invoice for all of your winnings in one package.
