PEACE, JUSTICE & EQUALITY LP IT'S TIME (Stone Gold Records SG 10001)

  Very hard-to-find 1976 soul-funk album from Hampton, VA. The front & back cover & the spine look really nice. There is a jagged top seam split, but it's not visible from the front. The title cut, "It's Time" runs six minutes and shows off the considerable chops of a band that had been together for about 10 years when they recorded this LP. Daniel Goldstone wrote "Gettin' High." Recorded at Lenis Guess Studio in Norfolk, VA. (Guess was a rocker in his own right with 45s in the 60s on the Norfolk-based Legrand label.) This copy had still been encased in shrink wrap which kept the front & back looking so vivid. We removed the shrink wrap since it was torn. (Matrix #: "SG-10001A     CGT")




DISC - NEAR MINT

  We give great importance to grading our items accurately. A few very light surface scuffs, but no scratches, stains, streaks, pits, warping or residue on the disc or dead wax. Very nice surface gloss. Album appears to have been safely stored upright.

 COVER - VERY GOOD MINUS

  There is a jagged seam split across the top spine visible from the back & a tiny half-inch abrasion on the front, but the rest looks really nice. No ring wear, rubbing or speckles. No cut-out marks, writing, price tags or stickers. Spine looks great with no tears or cuts & is fully readable. Without the seam split, this would be near mint. Beautiful rich colors free of fading. Sharp print. Slight corner banging. Rich blue label is perfect with no signs of contact. Sharp cut hole with not even faint spindle scuffs!
