This NEAR MINT UK STEREO pressing of his 1965 debut solo album is on the textured orange & black CBS label: SBPG 62579
Recorded over several dates in June 1965, most songs required several takes as he only had one microphone for both voice & guitar

Vinyl weight: 135g
Housed within a front laminated, tri-flipback 'Dawson Rossiter' printed cover showing Simon and his then-girlfriend, Kathy Chitty
Complete with gold 'Stereo' sticker on the rear panel & original 'Patents Applied For' die-cut inner-sleeve

Vibrant & unworn bearing just a small handful of faint spindle trails around each unworn centre hole
Visual: NEAR MINT
Immaculate, unworn deep-gloss playing surfaces which are 'as new' and unmarked in strong daylight showing just a few harmless wispy paper hairlines beneath halogen light. You will not find a cleaner copy.
Sound Quality: NEAR MINT
Played just a few times on high-end equipment by its original owner, the sound quality is clean, clear & unworn throughout. The only distraction I detected during my playcheck were two light ticks on 'Kathy's Song'
Cover: NEAR MINT
Carefully stored within a non-smoking environment all its life, this super-clean & strong example bears just a single tiny 'thumbnail' to its glossy front laminate and a hint of wear to the left corners but this really is an unbeatable example
