The Nits are a inventive Art/Pop group from Amsterdam. Since their recorded debut in 1978, they have created some of the finest and most innovative music in Europe.

In 1989, Dutch art-rockers The Nits released a live album called "Urk", recorded live in Amsterdam, Utrecht and Moscow. Featured on this album are the band's biggest hits like 'In The Dutch Mountains', 'J.O.S. Days' and 'Nescio'. Also included are many album tracks, sometimes thoroughly re-arranged for their live renditions, thus showcasing their strong live reputation.
