This is the Deluxe double LP where only 1,250 units have been made available in unique, individually screen printed jackets with a bonus Fan Club 12". Beat Konducta in Africa is a 37-track instrumental hip-hop album produced & mixed with Madlib, featuring J. Rocc. This album bases itself on the obscure vinyl gems from the afro-beat, funk, psych-rock, garage-rock & soul movements of African countries as diverse as Zambia, Nigeria, Ethiopia, Ghana, Botswana and Ivory Coast. This album is for fans of the LA / Detroit sound made famous by J Dilla (Jay Dee), Peanut Butter Wolf, Oh No, Flying Lotus and even Gas Lamp Killer. Madlib is one of the best hip hop producers comparing to the likes of Dj Premier, Marley Marl & Pete Rock. He has worked recently with Erykah Badu & Mos Def on both of their new albums.
