For sale is this UK original white label test pressing vinyl album by The Kinks. Entitled Misfits, it contains 10 tracks (see pictures for track listing) and is housed in a fully laminated sleeve and original poly-lined inner sleeve with handwritten details in the corner. On the Arista label, the catalogue number is SPART 1055 and the date of issue is 1977.
Condition
The vinyl is in Excellent condition.
The white labels are in Excellent condition, clean and bright with handwritten details on Side 1 and no spindle marks.
The laminated cover is in Very Good Plus condition with just two tiny parches of laminate lifting on the front by the spine and one in the top right corner (see pics). The spine is complete with clear printing.
All vinyl records are strictly graded according to Record Collector magazine's grading system, the long established UK standard, with any specific flaws mentioned along with the grading. They are sent in custom-made mailers, with built-in or added stiffeners, and are packaged outside their sleeves to prevent edge splits. Singles without a picture sleeve will either have a plain sleeve or a correct-era original (not repro) record company sleeve (stated above). Original record company sleeves may not be the exact sleeve issued with the single so may have a different catalogue number hand-written in the corner but they will be the correct design for the single. They may have a bit of wear, writing, stickers, sticker marks etc but will be in a generally good, useable condition without edge splits or sellotape.
