COVER

This is the original Garrod & Lofthouse fragile gatefold cover , similar to the one used to house ' The Beatles for sale ' but this one does not have the thicker material or the inner re-enforced double flaps ! hence the reason most of these end up being torn and have very bad spines ! The outer cover is fully laminated and there are some lifting and bubbling mainly along the spine edge. The spine has survived fairly well with only the ends having some wear ( approx 5mm ) but otherwise fine with fully readable text and no splits . The inner ( un-laminated ) is very clean and bright with no writing , stains or stickers .The stereo sticker is still present on the rear panel ( PYE used mono covers for many lps and just covered the Cat No over with a stereo sticker ! often found on the front aswell ) Overall this is not a spectacular example but it's better than most and apart from the laminate and spine end issues , it's a fine example ( see-pics) strong VERY GOOD CONDITION !

VINYL

Both sides have a nice glossy shine and nothing more than a couple of faint surface hairlines , these are harmless marks that are very hard to see. Looks very nice ! both sides play though very clear and crisp sound on all tracks with no pops, skips or clicks and just a faint , low level crackle inbetween some tracks. This is a great sounding lp which is very hard to find these days ! Visualy EXCELLENT MINUS CONDITION and audibly both EXCELLENT CONDITION

LABELS Both labels are in very clean shape and not spoilt with writing , stickers or stains and only a couple of faint spindle traces to fault , which are only visable on angled viewing ! clean and bright clean set EXCELLENT PLUS CONDITION ! INSERT Complete with the very rare lyrical / poster ( which are normaly missing or in very bad shape ) This one is in super condition and still has the pull tab intact ! ( see-pics) EXCELLENT CONDITION ALL IN ALL THIS IS A GREAT PLAYING EXAMPLE COMPLETE WITH INSERT , JUST LET DOWN A LITTLE BY THE COVER , BUT AS FAR AS THESE COVERS GO , IT IS CLEAN AND HAS SURVIVED VERY WELL !
