This EXCELLENT copy of their 4th studio album is a UK 1st mono pressing dating from initial March 1965 release
It was the first Kinks album consisting entirely of Ray Davies compositions
It is on the pink & black PYE Records label: NPL.18149

A vibrant & clean set with a small collection of light, well-aimed spindle trails around each centre hole.
Visual: EXCELLENT
Both playing surfaces are perfectly clean and retain all of their factory deep-gloss shine. Strong daylight shows some light wispy marks & hairlines but nothing of any significance. Close inspection directly beneath my unforgiving directly beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp does little more than to highlight these minor blemishes, adding only a sparkling rainbow shine.
Sound Quality: EXCELLENT
Clean & clear throughout with no trace of any groove/playwear distortion or background crackle which suggests minimal careful play on good equipment. The only distractions to catch my ear during my single careful play-check at volume were are a light repeating noise for during the opening telephone ringing on 'Party Line' and 3 moderate clicks on 'You're Looking Fine'. Otherwise this is a very listenable and enjoyable copy.
Cover: EXCELLENT
A respectable example of this colourful cover which retains a vibrant unscratched high-gloss front laminate which is free from any 'thumbnail' creases. There is slight bruising to the corners but no wear to either of the opening edges. There is mild foxing to the otherwise clean & white rear panel and all flipbacks are fully intact.
Both seams are smooth and unstressed & the spine is fully worded and laminated along its entire length..
Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT
Clean & white with minor storage wrinkling, but no writing, tears or seam splits.
