Description
For sale is a very rare 10" vinyl release featuring the art work of Andy Warhol!
This 1954 release of Arturo Toscanini and the NBC Orchestra playing Gioacchino Rossini's William Tell Overture and the Semiramide Overture (RCA Victor, LRM-7054).
This 10" LP release plays at 33 1/3 rpm, it is in fantastic condition for being over 60 years old.
As this differs from the double 7", 45 rpm release it is considerably more difficult to come by.
The stunning artwork comes from Andy Warhol prior to becaming known for his pop art in the 1960s.
The below grading is conservative and detailed so as to ensure satisfaction:
Disc is VG+ with very light wear, noticeable only in bright light - some play wear but not much, a few superficial scuffs. Plays with faint surface noise, but as it's classical music it would not be noticeable during play of other genres - that said, it's not overwhelming and for the most part is only barely noticeable, closer to EX!
Jacket is VG+ with minor corner dings and a spot on the bottom left where a sticker used to be (other than that there's no noticeable splits, no discoloration, and no major creasing!!)
