The Jimi Hendrix Experience - ‘Electric Ladyland’ LP Uk First Issue. Condition is "Used".
Dispatched with Royal Mail 1st Class signed for.
Rare opportunity to own the first pressing U.K. issue of this incredible album. This copy has been well played and there is some surface marks on all four sides. Extra photos can be sent via email if needed. I have play tested the entire album and there is some static/crackle on the run in/run out. I’ve tried to grade every track individually on the album how they sound as best as I can for potential buyers, see below. I have used my REGA P2 which is brand new with a REGA Carbon stylus, amaranth amp and Bowers and Wilkins speakers.
Sleeve - see photos. Fairly good copy for its age. Some light ring wear and small creasing to the laminate. Spine does have some slight damage and corner wear.
Record - some slight bubbling, spindle marks on the label. Fairly clean though. See pics.
Side A -
1) And the gods made love - very light static in places. Plays well.
2) Have you ever been to electric Ladyland - same as above.
3) Cross town traffic - same as above.
4) Voodoo chile - some popping and clicking near the beginning of the track then plays well. Couple of small clicks halfway through. Plays well to the end (long song this one).
Side B -
1) Little miss strange - Little pop on the run in. Track plays well.
2) Long hot summer night - Light static/crackle in parts. Plays well.
3) Come on - Some very light crackle in quieter parts.
4) Gypsy eyes - Plays well.
5) Burning of the midnight lamp - plays well.
Side C -
1) Rainy day, dream away - very light crackle in quiet parts. Plays well.
2) 1983 (a merman I should turn to be) - slight crackle on intro. Plays well.
3) Moon, turn the tides... gently gently away - light static on intro. Couple of clicks. Plays well.
Side D -
1) Still raining still dreaming - very light static. Plays great.
2) House burning down - Nice clean track.
3) All along the watchtower - Some very light static/clicks in parts. Couple of clicks at the end of the track.
4) Voodoo chile (slight return) - starts well. Plays great.
