Description
This item is an album released in 1965 on Sahara Records by The Invictas entitled ‘The Invictas A Go-Go’. This band from Rochester, New York is best known for its classic single ‘The Hump’. Record label and number is Sahara Records SA-101. Record itself is in excellent condition with just a couple of very light scuffs on Side 1 that are hardly noticeable. Record looks as if it might have been played a couple of times and was professionally cleaned on a Nitty Gritty record cleaning machine. Record labels show no spindle wear (see photos). Record cover is also in excellent condition with flaw being some discoloring on the back of the cover probably due to age as the album is 52 years old (see photos). I’ve replaced the original paper inner sleeve with a Mobile Fidelity inner sleeve. See photos for song listings. This album is easily one of the nicest copies of this album that I’ve ever seen in over 40 years of collecting records! Most copies of this album that are originals on the Sahara label are beat.
