Cover: Near Mint condition - Flawless! With no plastic wrap attached.

Vinyl: Near Mint condition - Rarely played! Clean labels, disc in a white sleeve.

Vinyl:

Mint - Sealed! New/Old store stock never opened or played.

Near Mint (NM) - An excellent record with the slightest visible imperfections if any. Rarely played if at all.

Very Good Plus (VG+) - A well cared for record with light visible imperfections and great glossy sheen and plays excellent.

Very Good (VG) - An average record with moderate imperfections from improper care and handling that still plays very well with lots of play life left. "Usually a good filler copy!!!"

 

Album Cover:

Mint - Sealed! New/old store stock never opened.

Near Mint (NM) - An opened Lp still encased in the plastic shrink wrap.

Excellent - Well cared for. May have minor flaws or markings if any.

Very Good - Still in good shape. Usually has some flaws from wear or markings if any.

 

Your Grading Standards May Be Different !

 

(In Trust:) As a vinyl record collector for many years, I offer only good clean playable records. I spend alot of time and effort searching for those "good copies" in vinyl records and that I do take great pride of my investment in vinyl records that I collect and not only for my own personal collection but also to offer for resale. I will describe the item as clearly as I can.  My grading standards are simply based on visual appearance and test played on "high end stereo audio equipment" at most, for good tracking playability and sound performance. I do not grade by sound quality as everyone uses different audio equipment to play vinyl records and have different listening preferences with vinyl records.

**I don't intend to sell any records less than the VG grade as I have stated above. I offer no records that may be defective such as "cracked, chipped, badly warped, skips or jumps, or any other conditions to be unplayable". The (VG) grade I consider as a filler copy and anything below this grade of any vinyl records obtains no real value to me regardless of the rareness/scarcity be it of a famed artist or group of a particular record or record label to include all pressings be it original, 2nd or 3rd pressings, later pressings, reissues, generic or bootleg copies and so on.**
