Incredibly rare circa 1967~68 very early pressing factory sealed copy of The Doors self-titled album guaranteed original 1st print gold Elektra Records labels. Possibly, there would be some doubts concerning the matter if it wasn’t due to the gold-white 1st print Elektra Records gold-white repeat pattern paper inner sleeve with the large “E” logo seen through the intact shrink wrap at the mouth of the cover, which came only with the very early pressing copies. The front cover contains an original round 1960s style “Factory Sealed For Your Protection” gold-foil sticker affixed to the shrink wrap at the top. This Mint copy looks amazing and is in great condition. The fully intact shrink wrap contains two original breathe holes at the top of the front cover and doesn’t have any tears, splits or missing pieces, including the area of the mouth, which shows an original gold-white paper inner sleeve. Once again, this copy IS NOT a late reissue on the red or “Butterfly” Elektra labels, BUT THE VERY EARLY 1ST ORIGINAL ISSUE with the 1st print gold Elektra Records labels and original gold-white “E” logo repeat pattern inner sleeve. Final upgrade copy of The Doors self-titled album.
