In t he next few weeks I’ll put on auction more than 500 great and rare records. Most records are true collector’s items. Have a look, it is worthwhile! Most of my vinyl comes from my own collection and is in great, collectible condition. If not, I’ll clearly describe the possible flaws or scuffs. Appr. 90% of my records are EX to Mint-. This collection contains many rare German and essential Kraut, Dutch psych and garage, UK and US progressive and folk, early electronic and psychedelic records from the period 1967 to 1975. Extra info: U.K Psychedelic GARAGE Blues MONSTER !! Their first record.... in TOP condition... don't hesitate .. Mega Rare US pressing on SIRE from 1968. Maybe their BEST album, by the then lesser known, but incredibly good Climax Chicago Blues Band, one of the cool sounds from the sixties British blues-boom scene, recorded in 1968. The British blues scene of 1967-1969 was hot !! And while it is not always noted -- one of the best best was the Climax Chicago Blues Band (they dropped 'Chicago' after this first album). Though rooted in the American blues tradition, they gave it their own distinctive British twist, producing some of the finest modern blues music around in their first 4 or 5 albums, but NONE better than this, their first and arguably best LP! ....An underrated gem!

The Climax Chicago Blues Band
The Climax Chicago Blues Band--not from Chicago at all, but from Stafford, England--were major participants in the 1960s British blues-rock scene. This classic first record, recorded in '68 before they condensed their name to Climax Blues Band beholds the power of this band's ultimate talents. Influenced by the Chicago style of blues, these blues-loving musicians bring us a sound that is both direct and immediate and features very talented and creative harmonica and stinging guitar & slide guitar playing in the grand tradition of Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac, the Aynsley Dunbar Retaliation, John Mayall's Bluesbreakers, The Keef Hartley Band, T.S. McPhee's Groundhogs, early Led Zeppelin and a dozen others.
