Description
This is the legendary promotional Clash EP given out via NME in April 1977.
You needed to attach a sticker found in the first 10 000 copies of Clash's first UK album and send it in attached to the NME article to get this record.
I am including an ORIGINAL page from NME from 16th April 1977 with this offer on. It is not clipped out, the page itself is torn out of the paper. I found this article amongst all my old music papers, which I am also selling on ebay. Have a look at the Clash newspaper collection.
The sleeve is EX-. There are NO FAULTS. It is now 44 years old and the condition is stunning. I have owned this item for over 30 years.
The record is near mint. In the 30+ years I have owned it I have never played it - and I will not now. So it is a visual grading I am providing. I cannot see any faults with the vinyl. I would like to say mint but as I didn't own this from new I cannot gaurantee it has not been played. But the condition is stunning. Bright and shiny vinyl. Maybe a couple of hairlines under strong light from being pulled out of the paper sleeve.
This comes in a paper sleeve. I will not place it in the picture sleeve. I have never stored it in the picture sleeve, it's always been separate. I will aslo provide a plasic sleeve for additional protection.
