Description
I've included tons of photos to show the condition of the LP sleeve. Clean without stains, writing and almost no ringware. The one thing that is shocking to me, are the seam splits top and bottom. I did not buy this one new or the LP would be "Perfect".
I also included a vidio but the sound stinks, even though it was played through my Golden Ear Triton speakers. I thought it might be fun.
Up for auction is the Beatles Yesterday And Today LP. This is a Record Club 1st Edition with the Capitol Rainbow Label and released in 1966. The ST 8-2553 and 3 hash marks identify it as such.
The cover is VG only because of the seam splits. In the poly outer sleeve it's not even noticeable.
The labels are are VG+ with no spindle ware
I test played the entire LP and it played with almost no surface noise, noticible mostly between a track or two.. No scratches or smudges. I was actually surprised at how cleanly it played.
This LP is used and it is not "Perfect" but it is rare and would be a great addition to any serious collection.
The inner sleeve is original and in VG++ condition
When you bid on my auctions you are bidding on my collections. My 1st LP was "Meet The Beatles" when it came out in 1964. That means it took me basically 60 years to collect my 20,000 plus LPs. Of course I'll never sell them all.
I'm open to offers but it will have to be quick because my opening bid will be INSANELY low. If not for the seam splits, I'd start the bidding at $199 and be very disappointed if I didn't get more. I'm not a store so I have no "Buy-It-Now" option.
I haven't listed very many LPs lately but hope to do so soon...so...keep looking. You may find something you like.
THANKS FOR LOOKING AND GOOD LUCK!!!
You pay for Media Mail to cut down on your cost but I MAY upgrade to Priority Mail with insurance at my coat.
My grading system: There is No Mint or Mint- in my grading. Nothing is perfect in this reality so VG+ is as high as I go. I will include VG+ for rare and older LPs because they are hard to find in "Like New" condition. VG+---No damage, no smudges and perfect sound. (For "New" looking LPs, I'll add an extra +). VG---Maybe slight surface noise but still "like new". G---A playable LP with surface noise, some pops but no skips and worthy of a serious collection. G-/---Basically the same as G but RARE and will only be listed when playable without distortion.
The same grading will go with Covers and inserts and will be described in detail.
ABOUT FEEDBACK. I WILL LEAVE POSITIVE FEEDBACK AS SOON AS YOUR END IS COMPLETED.
I don't wait for you first.
