The Beatles-3rd State Butcher-Original 1966-Yesterday & Today LP-Great Peel! This a wonderful example of a 3rd state mono edition of the infamous Beatles Butcher Cover. No doubt you’ve heard the history of this cover over the years, and have probably seen many 3rd states as well. A lot of folks don’t risk peeling their 2nd state butchers, and with good reason. There’s a couple of people around that had done spectacular peels, the late great Gary H comes to mind. Bottom line is that it’s a roll of the dice as to whether you’ll end up with a good peel, or wind up ruining the value of your paste-over. So the decent peels out there are going very fast in today's market!
This peel is exceptional, no real faults to the peel at all!! The top and bottom seams are fine, and the spine is nice, but there is about 2” of splitting at the bottom seam. Good news is it hasn’t bled over to the bottom seam. For some unknown reason, the previous or original owner put a small piece of tape on the lower right front, which has yellowed a bit with time. Perhaps they were trying to prevent seam damage(?). Not that it is the main attraction, but a VG++ copy of the LP will be included, as well as the INNER GOLDENROD record sleeve!!

Please be aware that we will ship out at the earliest date possible after receipt of payment. However, our formal shipping window is 4 business days. We say 4 as there are times when the shipping process is overwhelmed (definitely not complaining), so we want to be upfront that shipping volume ebbs and flows internally and is constrained by the number of hands available. To minimize the chances of any damage during shipping, we ship in sturdy NEW LP Mailer boxes with pads for protection. We ship via USPS Media Mail, unless otherwise requested and funded. We will also insure, again if requested and funded.
We do offer returns within 30 days of receipt IF THE ITEM WAS IN ANY WAY DAMAGED OR MISREPRESENTED in the description or the photos supplied. If you just decide that “it looks different in person, so I changed my mind”, we do not recognize that as a valid reason for return. The buyer is responsible for shipping charges and ensuring that the item is returned in the condition received.
