THE BEATLES - 'REVOLVER'
This early 1st UK stereo pressing dates from August 1966 release on the black & yellow Parlophone label: PCS 7009
The side 2 label has the 'Dr. Robert' spelling which was changed to 'Doctor Robert' on later pressings.
Both labels have the 'Sold in UK...' text and 'The Gramophone Co. Ltd...' worded rims.
The 'KT' purchase tax code is visible around the side 2 centre hole.

Stamper codes: 1/GA & 3/GD
Vinyl weight: 161g
Housed in a front laminated, trip-flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed stereo cover.
Complete with original plain white 'Patents Applied For' inner-sleeve.

A superb set bearing no more than 2/3 light spindle trails around each unworn centre hole.
Visual: EXCELLENT +
Both playing surfaces retain all of their 'as new' deep-gloss' shine, bearing just a single light fingernail scuff on side one and some fainter inner-sleeve removal marks on 2. Close inspection directly beneath halogen light reveals little more than one or two harmless light hairlines and a sparkling rainbow shine. Very hard to find better.
Audio: EXCELLENT +
Played less than a handful of times on quality equipment only, this delicate pressing has excellent sound quality throughout. There is a little static in some of the usual places such as 'Eleanor Rigby' and 'Here, There & Everywhere', but no significant or major audible issues.
Cover: EXCELLENT +
A nice clean, white and strong example with an unyellowed, high-gloss front panel. The only evidence of it 54 years are a light wrinkle towards the upper right corner and a small bump to the upper left corner tip. Both opening edges are clean & sharp and the rear panel is clean & black where it should be with no ringwear, writing or missing paper. All flipbacks are fully intact and both seams and the spine are unworn.
