Description

Here up for auction is an 1966 Yesterday and Today Capitol ST-2553 Peeled butcher cover! Black rainbow without "subsidiary" rim print. The front cover shows the Beatles in butcher smocks. The trunk cover was pasted over the Butcher cover at the factory. It comes with the original burnt orange inner sleeve thats intact on all sides. There is a small hole punched in the upper right corner. The vinyl record is from the Los Angeles record plant, having the topped off "1" on the label indicting west coast press. The back for the album cover shows a number 5 from the RIAA symbol signifying "LA". The previous owner did a bad peel and tried to fix it as best as possible (as shown in photos). The spine is very nice all the way through but there is a small crack in the middle. Other than that all seams are intact and good condition! Overall a decent peeled butcher for any collector to have!!
