Description

SHEP COOKE UNRELEASED 1964 ACETATE G+

4 song acetate (10") plays at 33 RPM. LOTS of light scratches on disc and unfortunately plays with a lot of noise as well. I normally don't like selling records in this rough condition but this is a very unique piece. No cover (its an acetate, it never had one in the first place) - comes in plain paper sleeve.

Acoustic guitar/vocal demos (I assume they're demos). To the best of my knowledge these recordings have not been release anywhere. They were recorded in 1964, around the time of his single with THE INTRUDERS and predates his work with Stone Poneys by several years. A very cool piece of Arizona music history!
