Description

The Beatles  "Yesterday & Today"

This is an original US vinyl pressing on Capitol T-2553 from 1966.      This is a Mono pressing on the black label with color band.    It is second state, with the butcher cover underneath the trunk cover.     However there is a 3 X 5 area at lower right where someone has started to peel the truck cover off.     Only a small area of the trunk cover was peeled and none of the butcher cover was harmed.     You can clearly see the butcher cover underneath.   You can also see Ringo's V-neck sweater above this area.      The number on the back cover at lower right is : 6.     The record comes in the original 1966 orange Capitol inner sleeve.

Overall Condition is : Cover is VG /  Record is VG+

The cover is VG.    There is no writing anywhere.    There is slight ring wear on the front at top left.       There is more ring wear on the back cover.     The bottom left corner is worn and rounded off.    There are seam splits that are taped up with clear tape : two inches on top seam at right corner, one inch on top seam at left corner, ten inches along left spine, and two inches at bottom center.       These are all clear tape and not too noticeable.

The vinyl looks near mint and it plays VG+.      There are a few light paper scuffs, but no scratches.          The labels are clean with no spindle marks.  The record comes in a orange Capitol '66  inner sleeve.

The songs are : Drive My Car, I'm Only Sleeping, Nowhere Man, Dr. Robert, Yesterday, Act Naturally, And Your Bird Can Sing, If I Needed Someone, We Can Work It Out, and Day Tripper.

About Me :

I started collecting records in 1966.     I started selling in Goldmine in 1985.      I now sell records at all Northwest record conventions : Portland, Seattle, Tacoma, Eugene, Grants Pass, and Canby.       And at Crossroads Music in Portland, Oregon.     My records are from a no smoking and no pets home.

Packaging :

I take great care on every package and I do each one personally.     I will package this record between two pieces of hand cut cardboard.    One sheet is 5/8 inch thick triple strength industrial cardboard.   The other sheet is 1/4 inch double strength cardboard.   Together they are very strong and unbendable.   ( Even the postmen comment on how strong this cardboard is ! )       I always remove the record from the cover and seal them in a clear plastic album sleeve.     The package will be marked in red : "Fragile Record" on both sides.

Postage :  Weight : 1 pound 9 ounces

You have to pay for the postage.     I pre-weigh every record, so that you pay the exact amount the post office changes.   There are no handling charges.     This record will weigh 25 ounces ( 1 pound, 9 ounces ) when ready to ship.   US bidders can figure out your own postage costs for US Priority or Media Mail.    All US winners will get shipping through Paypal and a email with the tracking number.      Overseas bidders must use First Class Mail International.   I will let you know the date I mailed your record and the US customs number.   ( Buyers from Italy must assume all risks for shipping to their country. )      I will send your record as soon as you pay ( same day if before 2 PM and next day if after 2 PM : Monday thru Saturday)   I will combine shipping if you win more than one record.      Please wait for me to send you an invoice for all of your records in one package.

Serious Bidders Only :

Serious bidders only.    If you bid you must be prepared to honor your bid.     I expect payment within three days, but will gladly wait up to seven days, if you contact me.      I no longer accept bids from buyers with more than two strikes against them.
