With its pillow synth-pads and rich textures, the soundtrack seamlessly wanders through the 80s world of 'Stranger Things', breeding an unthreatening serenity with a gentle shift toward a darker mood. The score then plunges into a nightmare before the audience even have time to blink; a change pulled off with uncanny grace.
