WITH THE BEATLES
'Rare! - 'Rare!' - 'Rare!'
This is the Beatles 2nd album With the Beatles pressed by Decca denoted by the extra deep groove on the label. This album was selling so fast that EMI had to contract with DECCA to press sufficient albums to meet demand. Hence they are very rare and worthy of any serious collectors addition!
Both vinyl surfaces are in brilliant condition with a very high sheen to them, there is the odd superficial mark but nothing much. The labels have Parlophone rims without sold in the uk on them and as stated above has the extra deep groove, also there is a polo ring present around the centre hole.
Matrix nos are XEX 447-7N and 448-7N
Stampers are 50 and 3, no letters present.
The inner sleeve is Emitex with the plastic protector.
The cover is the G+L version with 3 flaps which are all intact and the large Mono indicator. Overall the cover is really excellent, one of the better copies I’ve seen with a deep shine to the front laminated panel and a nice clean white rear panel. The 3 flaps are almost perfect. In all this really is a nice example.
