Description
Rare early reissue copy of The Beatles - White Album 2 x LP released on the Parlophone EMI label PCS 7067/8. This is a numbered copy No. 0364379.
Both records have been ultrasonically cleaned in the amazing Degritter and the vinyl has come up clean with numerous fine scuffs, marks and hairlines visible ( see photos). The labels have spindle trails visible. Graded G+ visually but it playtested better - see notes below.
We played the album through entirely and it played better than it looks with surprisingly good sound in places. NO jumping or skipping - both records played through as they should with background noise/crackle throughout.
Record 1 Side 1- Background noise not overpowering, still good stereo imagery & tone Record 1 Side 2- Low background noise, does not overpower the music which is enjoyable with fab detail, plays closer to VG - VG+ at times Record 2 Side 3- Noisier in parts but still completely audible with good detail. Record 2 Side 4- Background noise but plays better than Side 3, close to VG in places.
The gatefold toploader sleeve is in worn condition with the spine completely gone and the back leaf split open. There are names written in ink on the front and inside. Discolouration, foxing and ringwear etc - the photos show the exact condition.
The records are both in Emitex type inner sleeves.
Low auction start to reflect overall condition.
