Description
I have up for auction a rare and wonderful Album Set of 5 records (Three 10" and Two 12" 78s) on a blue The Library Of Congress label, Division Of Music. I have nearly all of the 21 or 22 Sets and will be listing them over the next few months. All recorded in the field by various people, often the Lomaxes, and Edited by Alan Lomax. I believe during the mid to later 1930s and early 1940s. This one is the most sought after, Folk Music Of The United States, Album IV, "Afro-American Blues and Game Songs"-From the Archive of American Folk Song. Edited by Alan Lomax. The records are:

This Set also has the original Library of Congress typewritten descriptions of the artists, musical information including lyrics. Most impressive!
The records range from very good to excellent condition, hardly any wear and scuffs and scratches are few, light and almost exclusively surface variety, none deep. Each is a somewhat thinner, flexible 78, less breakable, thus better for shipping. Cover and inside sleeves in very good condition as well. A truly rare and very desirable collectible!
