Title: The Beatles (White Album)

Description: Very rare UK 1968 First pressing on the Apple label, with an added variant of this copy having a WIDESPINE numbered sleeve (0204121) - this album during this time was pressed in considerably greater quantities in stereo, thus these days finding even a half decent complete copy is becoming increasingly more difficult. This edition is present too with its original black inners/ photos/ poster all in fine solid condition.

Condition;

Disc 1 : Very Good Plus: A nice clean copy which harbours no serious or offending marks, under bright light a selection  of light scuffs and hairlines become visable on both sides however this is certainly a far better than average example. Play as expected is unworn and sharp sounding, there is touches of background in quieter areas and imbetween tracks.  

Disc 2: Excellent Minus: Grading a touch above the first disc this one is overall slightly cleaner with only a couple of scuff markings to each side, play again is fine- clean and fresh sounding with areas of intermitent background.  

Sleeve: Very Good Plus: A nice solid example of this rarer sleeve variant, nice flat clean front and back panels, free of any names or stickers and only minor shelfwear to the top opening section. The spine does have some laminate cracking however this does not detract from what is overall a far better than average example (see pictures). 

Labels: Near Mint/ Excellent Plus/ Near Mint/ Excellent Plus: All labels are in beautiful condition, free of any wear/ names/ stickers; in particular the two 'A' side labels which boast only one or two tiny spindle trails each. The two 'B' sides have one or two more but are still superbly sharp looking.  

Inners: Excellent: Both unspilt and relatively unworn with just storage creasing. 

Photos: Excellent Plus - Near Mint: All in fabulous condition one small storage crease to Pauls in the extreme top right corner.  

Poster: Excellent

I aim to provide the most honest and accurate grading to ALL of my records. All records are graded to the highest and most strict standards in accordance with the guide set by the UK Record Collectors Guide. Close examination under a bright desk top lamp is used in the grading of vinyl playing surface as well as normal daylight.

UK Record Grading System 

Mint:

The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet. booklet or poster are in perfect condiition. Records marked as Sealed or Unplayed should be mint.

Excellent:

The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

Very Good:

The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects is acceptable

Good:

The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc

Fair:

The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

Poor:

The record will not play properly due to scratched, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing
