The Beatles by The Beatles, but better known as the White Album 1st Press Mono (XEX) misprint that hasn't got the EMI logo printed on the labels. Gatefold/Double LP.
Number on cover. 0080782.
PMC 7067/PMC 7068.
An early Beatles White Album pressing; in fact, numbered at 0080782 and comes complete with all 4 glossy photographs, black inner sleeves and the double sided poster. This mono version is a top loader that has 'Sold in U.K. subject to resale price conditions, see price lists'.
Matrix Side 1 XEX 709-1.
Side 2 XEX 710-1.
Side 3 XEX 711-1.
Side 4 XEX 712.1.
This is the original first press mono with all four sides having the 1/1/1/1 matrix numbers at the end; however the stampers/mothers are quite difficult to make out, but here goes:-
Side 1 - 333 MT
Side 2 - 8 GGM
Side 3 - 1 H
Side 4 - 1 P.
CONDITION
Sleeve. The sleeve shows signs of wear and has a rip at the back, some discoloration in the bottom corner and spine wear, but still does its job and is in a fair or slightly better condition.
Inserts. Black original inserts that show some sign of wear. Fair +
Vinyl. Has a number of marks and blemishes on the records, but I have played the through and they sound good, albeit with crackling in quiet parts. I have played parts of the record on the youtube listing. Good +
Photographs. All four are in a very good condition. VG+
Poster. Shows signs of wear with a couple of tear on one of the seems and some marjs that i have caotured on my youtube clip. Good.
A great addition to any record collection and a brilliant buy for anyone who wants a relatively low numbered copy of the White Album.
